PURPLELINE Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : The battery in the handset discharges very rapidly (goes flat after a couple of days) although the handset appears to switch off ok!
This remote arrived safely (it was delayed in transit to us due to insufficient postage being paid bu the customer and it being held at the local sorting office for a while).
The remote was found to be draining batteries at a fast rate even when not in use, the solution was to as a isolation switch to the side of hte remote that isolates the power source when not in use. (See bottom picture)
