Magiglo Fire Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : just does not work--I bought a new battery and it worked sparodically, but then not at all
This remote arriced safely and was found to be dead. upo opening the battery cable was split (this was done by the customer and was not the problem).
There was a spilleage / contamination in the remote around 2 of the buttons (see bottom image). The buttons were replaced and the spilleage cleaned up, full functionality has been restored (see testing video). The batter terminals and lead were also replaced
