Burley 516 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : It does not operate the fire anymore, I have tried new batteries but it still does not flash red to enable it to connect to the fire

 

This Burley fire remote arrived safely with batteries, on first inspection the battery cover was loose and would not latch, looking at the battery terminals signs of leakage were present.

Upon opening the remote the leakage damage was clear, there were track corrosions all around the pcb and the main IC.

sadly due to the extent of the damage and the lack of replacement IC this has deemed this repair non economical.

There is no service charge for this remote and only the return postage is required to have the remote returned.
