Customers Fault Description : Handset seems ok - lights up and ignites fire - lights up but does not operate receiver on decrease flame / turn off button.
This remote and receiver arrived well packaged and upon testing it was found that the fault lay with the remote itself.
The decrease channel wasn't sending the required ultrasonic signal.
The reason for this was a faulty 40k crystal in the handset. This was replaced and tested again with the receiver, full functionality was restored (see testing video)
