Customers Fault Description : Doesn't seem to transmit further than 1cm away from each other.
This remote and receiver arrived safely, there was some dents and scuffs on the handset itself (this doesn't effect functionality and cosmetic damage cannot be repaired)
Upon testing the remote the working distance was a maximum of 1 to 2 centimeters.
This was found to be a faulty ultrasonic transducer in the handset itself, this was replaced and full functionality was restored.
