Sarason Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Sarason

Customers Fault Description : Fitted new battery. None of the buttons are working.

 

This remote arrived safely packaged with a brand new remote shipped by the manufacturers.  

The faulty remote was found to be non transmitting at all.  Upon opening the handset there was extreme water damage to the button array, an attempt was carried out to re-conductify the tracks but sadly the damage was so extreme that it failed.

Unfortunately the plan to try to make a working remote from the replacement sent could not be carried out as even though they are simily in visual appearance the processors in both remotes are encase in resin which makes it impossible to swap.

Therefore sadly this repair is not possible.
