Customers Fault Description : CAME TO USE REMOTE BUT NO OPERATION (NB LED HAS NOT WORKED FOR A WHILE)
This Hoffman remote control arrived safely. First Glance showed that the screw was missing from the back of the handset. On testing there was not led illumination or infra red emmision on any button press.
A component check revealed that the crystal oscillator was faulty this was replaced and the Infra red signal was restored. Then the Red led was replaced and the visible indicator was then functioning.
