Customers Fault Description : Power button appears to work, but flame and heater level buttons do not work.
This fireplace remote control arrived safely and on powering was found to be totally dead. On closer inspection of the battery compartment it was noticed that one of the terminals had suffered some corrosion sue to a battery acid leakage, luckily this hadn't gone further than the terminal itself and therefore this repair was completed by changing the terminal.
Full Functionality was restored
