Sleepeezee Bed Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : all the buttons are worn, i initially managed to get a couple working by cleaning, however cant get any of them to work
This remote arrived safely and on powering it was found to be non transmitting on any button press.
The problem was found to not be the buttons themselves but was a combination of 2 issues, the first was a dry joint and the second being a "dirty" mode switch. The joint was soldered and the switch was cleaned using lubricating switch cleaner and functionality was restored.
Please note that a common issue with these remotes is that the red led does not illuminate, this is due to a faulty IC which is not available. This is a problem with this remote the red led issue does not affect functionality.
