Vibradorm Bed Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Dead

 

This vibradorm handset arrived safely and on adding a power source was found to not be transmitting on any button press.

It was noticed that the battery terminals were slightly loose and not making a proper connection to the battery.

On opening the remote there was also a dry joint found around the mode switch.  This joint was resoldered and functionality was restored.  A modification was carried out on the battery compartment to replace the terminals with a PP9 clip as a precaution against the usual terminal breakage  which is very common with these controls.
