Echostar Remote for HDT-610R Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Volume button does not work I.e does not go up or down
This Echostar remote arrived safely with batteries included. On testing the remote all button were working except the volume up and down.
When opened there was a sticky contamination around the bottom quarter of the controller. This had leaked into the side nearest the volume controls and contaminated the buttons, this was cleaned up using alcohol and full functionality was restored.
