Purple line Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : No communication with main unit
This Purpleline remote arrived safely, initial inspection showed that the red LED was broken and there was a rattle inside the controller.
On adding a power source there was no signal being emmited from the handset.
When opened the rattle was found to be the top of the LED which had cracked into 2 parts. This was replaced and also the battery terminal was also replaced.
Also there was a contamination found on the PCB which was cleaned up.
Full functionality was restored.
