Burley Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Burley
Customers Fault Description : Similar to the black remote you have in one of your videos. Possibly moisture got to it a year or so ago. Occasionally stops working and then can suddenly start working again for long periods. Currently it's not working.
This fireplace remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be non responsive on either button press.
When opened there was some corrosion on parts of the print that was due to a liquid contamination. This was cleaned up and all solder joints resoldered and then the PCB was given an alcohol bath to remove any other contaminants. Full functionality was restored.
