Customers Fault Description : Just not working - no light on when buttons are pressed
This Sony remote arrived safely and on first inspection had signs of a battery leakage in the battery compartment. On adding a power source there was no output from the handset on any button press.
When opened it was noticed that the leakage had spread to the PCB and had corroded some parts of the bottom of the PCB print. This was reworked and full functionality was restored.
