VEBA Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : VEBA
Customers Fault Description : NON OF THE BUTTONS WORK, THE REMOTE SEEMS TOTALLY INOPERATIVE.
This Veba remote arrived safely, included was a 2nd class stamped envelope that cannot be used as the size of the package is a small parcel not a large letter, also we use a courier service for security, this envelope will be returned with the remote.
On adding a power source the handset itself was found to be intermittent in functionality, i.e. it would work one second and not the next.
On opening the controller there was a small crack in the print on a couple of the tracks, this was repaired but the infra red signal was found to be weak, this was rectified by replacing the IR LED.
