Customers Fault Description : COMPLETELY DEAD, NO RESPONSE WHAT SO EVER EVEN AFTER CHANGING NEW BATTERIES
This Bose controller arrived safely and on testing was found to not be sendig an RF signal on any button press.
On opening the control there was some contamination on a few of the button pads (on the PCB side). This was cleaned up but the problem remained. A check round with a meter found that there was a open circuit on one of the prints that was causing the problem, this was a dry join issue and was remedied by resoldering the joint.
