Customers Fault Description : BUTTON TOP RIGHT, 2ND ROW NOT WORKING
This Hoffman remote arrived safely and on first inspection the control was missings some buttons as well as the battery compartment cover (see images), these cannot be replaced but they are from systems that are not used usually by the customer.
On adding a power source the battery was very loose in the holder, this is due to a broken mounting pin. The remote itself was sending a signal on most of the buttons but the red visible led was not functioning.
When opened there was a break in the print found on the button that was faulty, the print was reworked which restored functionality to all of the buttons. The LED was replaced which restored the indicator light and also a modification was done to the battery compartment to allow the batter to have a firm fit with the terminals.
