GAZCO - sequential command control 80895048 or MMB22600 Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : GAZCO - sequential command control

Model : 80895048 or MMB22600

Customers Fault Description : The actual remote ie display screen, appears to be working, in that it displays the temperature and when pressed the buttons cause icons to flash on the screen. (the 'set' button needed a firm press prior to this latest problem). The main issue is that the remote has lost contact with the fireplace. I have tried replacing it with new batteries with no result. The fireplace works independently with its own little touchpad but the remote no longer seems to 'connect' to the fireplace. The remote did get knocked off the coffee table a few months ago and I am wondering whether something inside has become disconnected?

On adding a power source the display lit up and an RF signal was being transmitted,  the control was opened to see if there was any cause for an intermittent fault but no issue could be found.

Therefore a repair is not required as no fault could be replicated.

It is possible that the receiver has lost its sync with the remote itself, instructions can be found by downloading the PDF document HERE
