Triton Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Triton

Customers Fault Description : Remote does not function at all, although built to be used in the bathroom, it has gotten damp. I've tried to replace battery with no luck. There is brown staining inside on plastic case but not on battery terminals.

 

This triton controller arrived safely and on testing was found to be non transmitting on any button press.

On opening the handset there was a large amount of print damage due to water contamination, the print was reworked and full functionality was restored.  Please note that this controller is no longer waterproof and therefore great care must be taken to ensure future moisture damage does not happen, one way is to encase the control in a seal-able see through bag when in the same room as moisture.
