Customers Fault Description : can get it to work if take the battery cover off & hold batteries with fingers & rotate them till it works, faulty button marked on handset
This Enduro Caravan mover controller arrived safely and on testing the battery terminals were damaged making a battery connection intermittent.
On opening the controller it was found that the backing to the terminals had melted causing the terminals to be too countersunk that the terminals were our of reach of the battery positive node, the bad terminals were replaced and also the positive nodes were enhanced with solder to extrude the terminals for better conductivity.
Once done full functionality was restored. The fault with the button could not be replicated and therefore the PCB was cleaned up and the button contacts cleaned.
