Helex G30-ZRRTT Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Reacts only at a small distance, and only down. Not the correct voltage at the output. Please test it for long distance with a closed door of the fireplace.
This remote and receiver arrived safely from the Netherlands. On adding a power source 2 problems were found, one was that the remote itself was only transmitting a small distance, the ultrasonic transmitter was replaced in the handset which restored full distance functionality with our test receiver.
When tested with the customers receiver it was found that its receiving strength was also poor, the ultrasonic receiver transducer was replaced and full functionality was restored when both tested together.
