Kinder Oasis RC Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : The fire turns on correctly with both left hand buttons depressed at the same time, but no other functions work
This Kinder fire controller arrived safely with a battery inserted. On testing it was found to be erratic on various button presses.
When opened there was some contamination around the main IC which was intermittently shorting some of the pins.
This contamination was removed by giving the PCB an alcohol bath. The buttons were also replaced as they are notorious for going faulty.
Full functionality was restored.
