Customers Fault Description : Nothing works despite changing batteries
This fireplace remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to not be transmitting. On opening the problem was clear. There was contamination around the PCB button array. The board was given an alcoholic bath and the button pads cleaned, full functionality was restored.
