Customers Fault Description : Remote turns on very intermittently when double clicking the on/off button. Once turned on, everything else seems to work fine.
This reich remote arrived safely and on adding a power source was confirmed not to be activating on the power on double press.
The issue was found to be the front keypad which had an open circuit track due to corrosion. The front had to be peeled apart to access the problematic area, this has caused a discoloration on part of the facis (see image). The open circuit was located and reworked, full functionality was restored.
