Dimplex AC3RN Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Faulty, no ir output

 

This Curtain heater controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to be transmitting on either button press.  A component test revealed that this is due to one of 2 components, either the A6 transistor or the mian ic is at fault.

We have the A6 transistor on order to change, if this does not repair the remote then the problem will be the I.C. which is encased in resin which would make it beyond repair.

Once the replacement transistor has arrived and been fitted we shall contact the customer with an update.

THIS ITEM WAS SCRAPPED ON THE 28TH FEB 2018 AS PER OUR TERMS
