Gazco MMB22600 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Remote doesn't work, come on, even with new batteries.
This controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to be powering up, the battery terminal was found to have corrosion / contamination over on of its contacts (probably caused by a minor battery leakage). The terminal was cleared up and coated with conductive paint and full functionality was restored.
Please note that in any remote it is strongly advised to use Duracel batteries as they are guaranteed not to leak and cause future issues.
