Sun rc02a Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Led lights up but remote intermitantly works.

 

This Sun Brake Tester remote control was found to have sluggish reactions on some buttons (mainly the top 5 buttons)

 Upon openin the remote the contacts were found to be contaminated, the pcb was cleaned with alcohol and the pad array was washed to remove all traces of the contamination.

 

Full functionality has been restored to this handset (please see testing video)
