Samsung AH59-01778E Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Liquid split onto the remote, I am unsure of the liquid type as it was my kids that did it. The power know will not power on at at.

 

This remote arrived and as stated by the customer was found to be totally dead.

Upon opening the remote the spillage was found to be a sugary liquid which was coating part of the board.  This was removed by giving the main board a alcohol soak.  The battery terminal was also contaminated and was  cleaned up and coated to prevent future corrosion.

Full functionality was restored to the remote once it was left to dry out after the alcohol bath. (See  )
