Remote will not work. Press the buttons on the remove, the light comes on but the fire will not light at all. The gas valve on the fire doesn't appear to be receiving a signal. Have to light manually. Not sure if the fault is with the sender or the receiver.
Swithland Soneva Homestyles TR001 Repair
Controller was not used for a long time. When I tried to use it recently, I replaced battery as the remote did not work. Now, when battery is inserted, the remote indicator LED illuminates with no buttons pressed. The sunshade does not respond even when buttons are pressed. Feels like there's a short or dry solder joint somewhere. Unit has not been dropped or immersed in water.

It was not working at all but found something on youtube showing how to fix by removing the electrical ribbon and replacing it. This worked but now it is only operating one right side. When you press the left side buttons the relay just clicks.

When you press any of the buttons, the little yellow light at the top lights up, so you know it's sending the signal to the ignition of the fire to light it up.
