RemoteFixer Terms and Conditions
RemoteFixer is part of the SMG Development Group. We only offer
repair services for customers within the United Kingdom.
We only repair Infrared (IR) type remote controls. If you are
unsure about what type of remote you have please contact us on
0845 838 6182
You must securely package your remote when shipping it to us
and it is recommended that you ship your remote by recorded delivery
and if the remote is expensive then it is recommended that you
ship it to us by insured special delivery. RemoteFixer and SMG
Development shall not be responsible for any postal loss. If
a remote is lost then you must contact your postal service department
and trace the item. We cannot assist in the tracking of lost
items.
All remotes must be sent along with the Printable Job sheet
(supplied when filling in our repair form online) and four first
class stamps. If an item arrives with us without the 4 first
class postal stamps then the remote cannot be returned to the
customer until the relevant postage cost has been paid. Remotes
will be disposed of after 45 Days if no postal charges are paid
in full.
Please note that some remote controls are sealed in such a way
that they are made not to be opened, in this case some
cosmetic damage may occur during the opening of the device. We
take utmost care to ensure that any cosmetic damage that may
occur is kept to an absolute minimum but we cannot guarantee
that we can return the remote control to you in the same physical
condition of its original state.
In some rare occurrences it is possible for intermittent or
partially faulty remotes to become totally Inoperable, therefore
we cannot guarantee that a intermittent remote wont become totally
unusable after a repair attempt.
