Pedicure chair Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Pedicure chair
Customers Fault Description : Isn't powering on
This remote arrived safely. This is a wired remote that is poewred by the main unit that the handset plugs into, which means that we were not able to test the functionality before opening. The customer has stated that the remote is dead.
The handset was opened to test for any obvious component fault and to also check the continuity of the cable.
All "testable" components checked out ok and no break in the lead was found. There was some slight contamination on the board which was cleaned off using a cotton swab and alcohol. This was not conclusive as to if it had repaired any fault. There are 2 surface mount processors within this remote that are non testable which could be the cause of the fault.
This remote has been classed as "no fault found" due to us not being able to test it and its recomended that the customer test the handset out with their equipment on its return - No charge has been applied except for the return postage
