Customers Fault Description : No Power
This technics hifi remote arrived well packaged safely.
Initial testing showed that there was no infra red signal being transmitted at all from the handset.
When the remote was opened the problem became apparent. The battery terminals were cracked around the solder joints causing an open circuit which basically meant that no battery power was reaching the main pcb.
This was soldered and full functionality was restored (see testing video)
