Customers Fault Description : not working
This Hormann garage remote control arrived safely, the back was held on by tape.
Upon opening the remote there were no immediate signs of a problem, a few component checks found that a couple of surface resistors were suspect.
These were replaced but then the remote required a RF tester for testing its operation. A special tester was ordered and upon its arrival the remote was tested and found to be fully functional (see testing video)
The casing needed to be glued together.
