Omicron Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Omicron
Customers Fault Description : No buttons seem to work despite battery changes
This Omnicron remote control arrived safely and initial testing revealed that no signal was being sent from any button press on the handset.
Upon opening the remote and a full component / continuity test being carried out it was concluded that the fault lay with the main i.c.
Unfortunately this I.C. is encased in a black resin which makes it impossible to identify and replace. This has rendered the repair no possible
There is no service charge required and only the return postage is to be paid if the remote is to be sent back to the customer, alternatively we can dispose of the handset at the customers request of after 3 months from the 8th Oct 2015 as per our terms.
