Customers Fault Description : Works fine with new batteries. But the batteries are completely dead after a couple of days - when the remote hasn't even been used.
This remote arrived safely and as the fault description was that the batteries flatten after only a couple of days a power source was added and tested over a period of a few days.
Unfortunately the batteries maintained a charge and the remote continued to work over a week after applying the batteries.
As this couldnt be faulted there is no charge except the return postage.
It is worth noting that the batteries used by us were the 2032 variety and not the 2*2016 kind that had been used previously. A couple of spare batteries has been shipped with the returned remote to the customer.
