Customers Fault Description : THE REMOTE DOES NOT WORK EVEN THOUGH NEW A NEW BATTERY WAS PUT IN
This garage door handset arrived safely. First inspection showed that the battery cover was being held on by a band aid.
When a power source was added the light lit up when pressed but there was no radio frequency signal present.
On opening the control the ferrite core of the transmission coil was lose and fell out, this was refitted and secured in place. When retested the signal was present.
