Customers Fault Description : Wont respond
This remote arrived safely with a battery in the packaging, when the battery was inserted the control was found to be permanently transmitting without any button press.
When the front array was peeled off the reason became clear. The channel up button had collapsed and the conductive element was shorting the PCB. This was cleaned up and conductive paste use to replenish the button itself and full functionality was restored.
Please note that as the channel up button had collapsed the CH+ graphics are partially missing.(this doesnt effect functionality), also as the front was needed to be peeled off then the effective waterproofness is nullified i.e. this item is no longer waterproof.
