Wharfedale SYS44 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : the remote wont work at all, the red light at the top isn't flashing

 

This remote was handed in by the customer and on testing was found to only be transmitting about an inch.  Tests revealed a very suspect reading IR L.E.D.  this was replaced with a new LED and when retested the controller had a much greater transmitting range.
