Pioneer SC-LX71 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : The controller volume is needing to be pressed really hard and even then it only increases volume slowly, all the other buttons are sharp and work fine. NB there are two volume buttons on the remote, the one we have issues with is the one on the far right.
This Amplifier controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to not function on the Volume buttons.
When opened it was found that the problem was contamination on the button pads. The pads were washed down and the PCB given an alcohol bath to remove all contaminants and full functionality was restored.
