VIBRADORM VIF/COM 00.103.101 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : DOES NOT TURN ON. THERE IS NO RED LIGHT I MAY BE MISSING A BLACK PAD THAT FITS OVER THE BATTERIES. THE BATTERY IS GOOD.

 

This vibradorm controller arrived safely from the United States and on testing was confirmed not to be transmitting on any button press.

There were actually 2 problems causing this fault, the first was a dry joint on the crystal oscillator and the other was a faulty select switch (the red slider switch in the battery compartment)

The dry joint was resoldered and the switch replaced, please note that this switch has 2 modes (left or right), if your returned control does not function your item then simply move this switch across to the opposite side.
