Customers Fault Description : Remote not working
This Fireplace control arrived safely and on testing was found to be working but then became intermittent after a few tests. There are a few common issues with this control and all of the following was carried out. The IR led was replaced, the Crystal Oscillator was replaced and the board given an alcohol clean to remove contaminants. Also the battery terminal was replenished due to there being corrosion on on of the terminals.
