Marantz RC010SR Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : volume button not working. power on/off and standby buttons not working/intermittent. Surround button intermittant
This marantz remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have various buttons non functioning.
On opening the problem was found to be due to a liquid contamination on the main PCB.
The PCB was given an alcohol bath to remove the contaminants and full functionality was restored.
