Customers Fault Description : tx seems ok. it lights its led on flame up (both button held) & flame down ( where only one button needs to be held). however the rx lights its led on flame down & the gas valve closes; but the led does not light on flame up & the gas valve does not open. i tested with new batteries as a matter of course.
This fireplace control and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote itself was found not to be transmitting on the up channel, this was finally remedied by replacing the 40.5 crystal.
