Customers Fault Description : quite a few of the buttons not working.
Tuner, Aux, Tape 1 MON, Video 2, 1, 2, 3, 5, 0, +10, Volume +, Mute (intermittent), Tune +, Volume - (intermittent), Time, Repeat, Delete.
This Hif Fi system remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have many buttons not functioning. On opening the issue was clear, there was a circular section of corrosion on the PCB near the battery compartment. This had eaten through various print tracks, the print was reworked and full functionality was restored.
