Vibradorm Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Vibradorm

Customers Fault Description : When the remote/handset is plugged into the bed, the bed vibrates and won't go off and none of the buttons on the handset work. I have discovered that the metal connections for the battery in the remote/handset are missing so presume this is the problem. All of the buttons seem fine.

This adjustable bed controller arrived safely and on testing the remote was found to have 2 inputs shorted, after a bit of searching it was found that there was a bent pin in plug itself which was shorting against the ground shroud.

The pin was repaired and full functionality was restored.  Please note that as this is a cabled controller no battery is required (the casing shows a diagram of a battery only because the same case is used with the wireless versions which do require batteries)
