SONY RM-LP2O5 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : unable to power up the controller.Tried changing batteries several times

 

This Home Theater Controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to be powering up.  When opened the issue was found to be due to a mass of acid leakage from a battery leak.

Sadly the amount of corrosion caused on both sides of the print has deemed a repair not possible.
