Customers Fault Description : Remote not working at all. Does not turn TV on or anything at all.
This Sony Esprit TAV - L1 control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed dead.
On opening the issue was found to be a liquid contamination on the PCB which was shorting out numerous contacts. This was cleaned up which restored functionality.
