MAHA Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : MAHA

Customers Fault Description : NOT WORKING

This Maha brake tester control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed dead.  A visual inspection showed that the was a piecemissing from the case and the battery cover was split and held together by tape (these issues cant be repaired as cosmetic damage is not part of the service due to lack of available parts such as battery covers or replacement cases)

A component test was carried out and eventually the IC was found to be the issue.  A search was carried out but no replacement could be found.  Eventually a clone IC was found and fitted which restored full functionality.

Please note that the included battery was disposed of as it was low at 3 volts, a replacement battery will be required.
