Garage Door F04-433rc Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Garage Door

Model : F04-433rc

Customers Fault Description : Accidentally put fob through the washing machine, dried the unit & used different batteries. Lights come on but no signal as the door won’t open

This control arrived safely and on inspection the case was held together with tape and the button caps were not alligned properly.

When tested the LED illuminated using the top 2 buttons but no signal was present.  On opening there was some contamination over the board including under the button contacts.  The board was given an alcohol bath to remove all contaminants and the print reworked which restored a signal.

Only the top two buttons function and this is most likely due to the way it has been paired with its receiver.

A replacement front case was fitted to eliminate the need for tape to hold it together and also has proper button cap alignment.

The control is required to be tested full with the receiver on receipt.
