Maxitrol G30-ZRRS Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Maxitrol

Model : G30-ZRRS

Customers Fault Description : No longer working; may be due to battery leakage in control unit.

This remote and receiver arrived safely and on inspection both the remote and receiver had signs of battery leakage.  The battery cable on the handset was fused to the battery.

The receiver battery block was corroded and also the transducer was broken (the diaphragm is loose), when opened the PCB was found to have a large portion of corrosion as the leakage has traversed onto the main board.

Due to the amount of damage a repair is not possible.
